Summer Sandals for Kiki Doll

I loved KISS's Kiki doll crochet pattern, so I decided she needed clothes as well. Here's a pattern for some cute flip flops that go well with her bikini or summer dress.

Yarn used: Worsted

Hook Size: F

Stitches: (in US terminology) Single crochet, double crochet, shell (dc 5 times in one st).

4 Sc in Magic Circle. Join together with sl st.

Row 1: Inc sc around. (8)

Row 2: *Sc, sc inc* around. (12)

Row 3: Shell st once, tie off. Weave in ends.

Finishing: Ch 15 & tie off, leaving a few inches of tail on each end. Pull chain through a top st on opposite side of shell, then pull ends through loop and pull tight. Using tails, attach chain to the first and last st of the shell. Cut off or weave in ends. Repeat for other shoe.

Summer Shell Dress for Kiki Doll

I loved KISS's Kiki doll crochet pattern, so I decided she needed clothes as well. Here's a pattern for a lovely, summery, shelly dress. (NOTE: I have only made this particular pattern once. I think the back is slightly too big -- it fits, but isn't very tight. If you would like to make it smaller before I get a chance to edit this pattern, I suggest chaining about 30 for the first time and ignoring the numbers in parenthesis.)

A Little Late Starter...

But better late than never, eh?

Well, anywho. After seeing all these cool blogs and other things with all sorts of fun stuff inside them, I wanted my own.

So, this is my blog. It's for free resources for all sorts of things I like, since I am not a one-craft kinda girl. I'll post crochet things, knit things, sewing, baking, clay-ing, painting, drawing, digital-art-ing, and any other thing I feel like.

A little about me? Well... I love the Joker and Harley Quinn, dark and funny musicals such as Sweeney Todd, crafting, dolls, photography, and seahorses & giraffes are my favorite animals. Hmm. I don't know what else you'd want to know!

Sorry this isn't too terribly interesting right now. It'll be better. I promise.

xoxo,
Cat
